Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know what type of massage is right for me?
Not sure what to book? We’re here to help. Before your appointment, our team will briefly consult with you about your goals, concerns, and preferences to recommend the best type of massage—whether it’s Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic, or a custom blend. We will then match you with a massage therapist who specializes in that modality.
Once you arrive, your therapist will continue the conversation, assess any areas of tension or discomfort, and adjust the session based on what your body needs that day. Every treatment is customized to ensure you get the most effective, comfortable experience possible.
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
When performed by trained professionals, massage therapy is safe and highly beneficial during pregnancy. We offer prenatal massage starting in the second trimester using supportive positioning and gentle techniques to relieve back pain, reduce swelling, and promote relaxation.
Always let us know you’re expecting when booking your session so we can provide the safest, most supportive care.
How often should I get massage therapy?
Massage frequency depends on your goals. For general wellness and stress relief, once or twice a month is great. For injury recovery, chronic pain, or high physical stress (like athletes or new moms), weekly sessions may be more beneficial. Our therapists will help you build a schedule that works for your body and your life.
What should I wear to my massage appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to your appointment. You’ll be asked to undress to your level of comfort and will be fully draped throughout the session. Our therapists are trained to ensure your privacy and comfort at all times.
Do you combine massage with other treatments?
Yes. Massage therapy is often most effective when combined with chiropractic care, acupuncture, therapeutic exercise, or Pilates. Our integrated wellness center makes it easy to combine services in one convenient location. Your care team will collaborate to design a treatment plan that supports your full-body recovery and well-being.
Do you offer special packages or gift cards for massage therapy?
We do! Visit our Gift Cards page for the latest deals on massage therapy, personal training, and more. Treat yourself or give the gift of self-care to someone close!
